Solo dinner at Le Poisson Bleu and I’m still smiling. Killer cocktail, fab wine, trout crudites to start, perfect duck, and that rhubarb cheesecake? Unreal. Warm vibes, kind staff, cozy space—can’t wait to go back.

First time at Poisson blue this weekend for brunch and had an excellent time! The sign outside doesn’t look like much but don’t be fooled the inside is super cute and welcoming! The brunch was fantastic - the baked beans were some of the best I’ve ever had and the portions were generous for the price- we were all stuffed! I will definitely go back for brunch and would love to try dinner as well. Wonderful service too.

Took my boyfriend here to celebrate his 30th birthday and wow Le Poisson Bleu did not disappoint! The food was amazing, every dish was delicious. We shared the focaccia to start, the steelhead trout crudo ( DELICIOUS) and the butterflied seabream for 2 (amazing) and finished with some creme brulee for dessert! I had to hold myself back from ordering a second creme brulee lol YUM YUM YUM. I drank a non alcoholic strawberry mojito and my bf had some orange wine and a duck fat cocktail which he loved (sorry forgot the name of it). Can’t wait to come back to enjoy a nice meal on their patio for the summer. Thank you Poisson Bleu team for an awesome dinner.

Amazing! Went for our anniversary last night and it was one of the best dinners we have had in Ottawa thus far. They gave us both a complementary glass of Prosecco to celebrate, which was so kind. Service was 10/10. Food was amazing, especially the oysters which were shucked perfectly and extremely clean. Would highly recommend this spot for a date night, very intimate and cozy. Thank you again to Le Poisson Bleu for making our anniversary one to remember! -Mackenzie and Zack

Obsessed with this corner spot! Easy to miss but really worth the brunch! We got the smoked king salmon eggs benedict and lattes and it was super good! Great service and nice atmosphere :)

Finally went here for dinner this evening after over a year of hearing great things. We got the shrimp tartar, tuna steak au poivre, and rhubarb pie from the specials menu. And the lobster risotto from the dinner menu. Everything was incredible!!! Can not recommend enough. Great evening, great service and even better staff. Alex, thank you to you and your team for a wonderful evening. We can’t wait to be back!

The most incredible brunch experience! We came in for the last seating on a Sunday afternoon and could not have enjoyed ourselves more. The service was warm, personable and knowledgeable, the cocktails and wine we ordered were all superb. The space is vibey and warm, with an unfussy elegance that makes it feel like it could be in Brooklyn or outer bank Paris. Elegantly low key and very comfortable. The seafood was the truly star though . Everything we ordered was perfect. Steelhead gravlax, lobster benedict(!), grilled seabream and New Brunswick oysters were all stupendous. We even ordered the stuffed French toast as dessert and were blown away. Incredible bread, incredible sides... all hits, no flops. We were amazed. Until further notice this is my favorite restaurant in Ottawa. 10/10

On Wednesdays, LPB has a buck-a-shuck special on oysters with drink purchase. We arrived a bit early for our reservation, and were promptly seated and served. Oysters were amazing, fresh from PEI, our server even thought to add a birthday candle. Their foccocia is worth a try as well.
